Ziggy is a TU Delft spin-off. Our vision is to bring accessible innovation to healthcare. Our spearhead product is named Ziggy. Ziggy represents bringing wheelchair users and their care givers closer together through side-by-side pushing. We foresee this creative idea of fundamentally changing how the wheelchair is pushed as bringing particular benefit to the dementia care industry. Through increased social contact and stimulation, the progression of dementia could be slowed, preventing subsequent decline.
