During the Team Up Day ’24 on Nov 14, we offer you to join the StartupRoulette; a curated speeddating event where you can count on tailored introductions to Venture Capitalists and angel investors from our extensive network. Connect the dots with multiple relevant investors for 20-minute speed dates. We’ll make sure to match you based on your company and preferences (domain, funding need, traction) so you can get the most out of it.

StartupRoulette is an initiative from Golden Egg Check, a leading startup-investor matchmaker in the Netherlands. GEC also has its own co-investment fund; they invest together with strong lead VCs.

For who?

We strongly advise (startup) companies to connect with investors early, even before you are looking for funding. Investors can help you gain insights on your roadmap to success. Do you get an enthusiastic response or only critical questions when you explain your estimated market potential, your validation strategy or IP position? If you find the right investor, they know the field, might know other interested innovations or other leads interesting for you. At the StartupRoulette, we offer you easy connection with relevant investors, use this chance to make a first connection!

Come prepared: Investor Readiness Workshop

A couple of weeks before the StartupRoulette, we will be hosting an investor readiness workshop for all the startups and scaleups that are attending TTT Team Up Day on 14 November 2024.
Here’s what you can expect:

• Gain insider knowledge on raising venture capital effectively from Thomas Mensink (CEO and Partner at Golden Egg Check), who has a wealth of experience investing and connecting startups with investors;
• Discover how to negotiate with investors and secure the best deal;
• Navigate different investment types, financing instruments, and the investment process with confidence;
• Understand the investor’s perspective to refine your strategy. Plus, don’t miss the chance to network and engage in a Q&A session.

StartupRoulette at the Team Up Day

After the insightful online session on how to raise funding, we would like you to put this knowledge into practice at the on-site StartupRoulette during the TTT Team Up Day on 14 November  2024. We will be bringing together approximately 30-40 investors, including international VCs and angels, to connect them with the relevant startups attending the event.

How does the roulette work?

• You will be matched with (up to) 3 relevant investors, every meeting is 1 on 1 and lasts 20-minutes;
• We will do the matchmaking upfront to connect you with relevant investors based on your traction, market & technology domains, funding need, etc;
• You will receive the schedule of all the investors you have been matched with by 11 November. If we have no relevant matches for you, we will notify you in advance.
