polySCOUT is an AI-driven platform that accelerates the design and development of new polymer materials. By combining machine learning, polymer informatics, and laboratory validation, the platform enables researchers and industry partners to identify promising polymer formulations significantly faster than traditional trial-and-error approaches. The expected impact is reduced development time, lower R&D costs, and accelerated deployment of sustainable and circular polymer solutions.

The TTT-GT support is being used to strengthen the commercial and technical validation of the technology, including market assessment, customer discovery, business development activities, and further development of the platform. The funding also supports engagement with industrial partners and preparation for market introduction.

Results to date have confirmed strong interest from industry in AI-supported materials innovation and demonstrated the feasibility of combining predictive models with experimental validation workflows. Key application areas include sustainable plastics, circular materials, and specialty polymers.

The next step is to establish polySCOUT as an independent venture, expand industrial pilot projects, and further develop the platform towards a scalable commercial offering.
